I have been a professional bassist and educator for over eleven years. I have performed all over the world with a variety of bands playing Jazz, Rock, Blues, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Bluegrass and Folk music. Teaching music has always been passion of mine. When teaching lessons I take a practical. We learn about scales, theory, technique and reading. All of these academic approaches are then directly applied to learning songs you want to play. For example, when we learn a scale together I show you how this scale functions in actual music and how you can use it to better understand, memorize and play the music you love.
